The Life Of A Writer – The year in retrospect

It was about a year ago that I started this blog and I am absolutely amazed that so much time has passed so quickly. I spent the last few weeks of 2010 reflecting on my year and I have to say that it was a very amazing year and a very challenging one as well.

From a personal standpoint 2010 was a year of immense growth. I had the awesome opportunity to work from home for the first time in my adult life. In doing so it allowed me the time to pursue my passions, grow my business, pursue outside interests, as well as spend time with my son and family.

From a professional standpoint, I had the opportunity to network with a lot of interesting people within the publishing industry, release an eBook, present workshops, work on a radio show, do countless interviews and travel for business.

I am so grateful for the year 2010, and it will definitely be a milestone year as a lot of my growth can be attributed to lessons I learned during the span of this year. While I had so many positive things happen, I was greatly challenged as well but I am very grateful for every lesson learned.

With that being said, I don’t have any new years resolutions. I live my daily life in gratitude and in pursuance of my goals and I use the new years as a starting point for measuring what I’ve achieved. I have a lot of things planned for 2011 and I look forward to sharing it with all of you!

Happy New Year and much success to all of you in pursuit of your goals!

Happy New Year Stefanie! It sounds like 2010 was a life-changing year for you. It's exciting to think of all the continued growth you'll have in 2011. 2010 was a milestone for me as well with the birth of my second baby girl in June and the birth of a new perspective on my life and career that grew throughout the year. I'm really looking forward to 2011 to keep recreating myself and getting rid of old limitations that held me back. I'm with you, it's about how you live your daily life and making the choices everyday that support your intentions.
