Right before the book release!

I’m just days away from releasing the eBook Marketing and Publicity for the author and my weekend was so busy trying to get everything ready!

The weeks and days before a book launch can be really stressful, especially if you’re a self-published author and you’re handling all of the major and minor details yourself. But luckily my strengths are in multi-tasking, working under tight deadlines and getting the job done no matter what.

I was slightly delirious from a lack of sleep, so imagine my surprise when I signed on to Amazon and saw my book The Buzz on the front page.

“Oh my goodness,  I’ve made it!”

LOL. Okay obviously, I was tired when I saw this and didn’t realize Amazon was suggesting The Buzz because I’d added it to my wishlist.

I know…. don’t ask. I don’t have a clue how it got there. But if you’d seen my reaction when I saw my book cover out of the corner of my eye, well… *giggles*

I guess you had to be there.

Anyway, after having a good laugh behind the mix up and affirming my book being on the front page in the future, I got back to work.

Even though, I’m releasing an eBook this time around, the work before and after the release is much the same. So I’m here… peeking my head in, between social media, writing press releases, updating websites, implementing my marketing plan, blogging, graphic designing, editing, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

What was your process before you released your book? And if you haven’t released a book, what are some of your questions or concerns? Please share in the comment section below.
